Kaliabor College has constituted the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and UGC guidelines to ensure a safe, secure, and gender-sensitive academic and work environment.
The ICC is committed to preventing sexual harassment and promoting dignity, equality, and mutual respect among students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and all members of the institution. The Committee functions as an impartial and confidential body to receive, inquire into, and redress complaints in a time-bound and transparent manner, ensuring fairness and justice to all concerned.
The Committee also undertakes awareness programmes, workshops, and sensitization activities to educate the campus community about gender rights, responsibilities, and redressal mechanisms. Kaliabor College encourages all stakeholders to report incidents without fear of retaliation, assuring strict confidentiality and supportive handling of every complaint.
Through its proactive measures and responsive grievance redressal system, the ICC strives to uphold a campus culture rooted in safety, inclusivity, and respect.
