Profile
Kaliabor College National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.) troop was formed in 1981 (Vide letter No 711/A/187/NCC dt. 27-07-1981). Since its formation, the NCC troop is playing an important role for the welfare of the students. Living upto its motto i.e. ‘Unity and Discipline’ it strives in its endeavor to meet all its aims a. to develop the qualities of the Cadets, b. to create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available for the service of the nation, and c. to provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces by bringing together the vibrant youths of the College. The Kaliabor College NCC unit is recognized under the 8 Assam BN NCC/Tezpur Group/NER Directorate and it comprises of two divisions i.e. Senior Division (SD) and Senior Wing (SW). The active involvement of the Kaliabor College NCC Unit in various activities in and around the College campus makes it as an important part of the society.
