1. Undergraduate Courses

Affiliation: Gauhati University
Admission Platform: Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal (Samarth Portal)
Guidelines: Mentioned on the Samarth Portal itself, following the latest instructions from the Director of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Assam.
Courses Offered:
Regular (Major/Minor): BA, BCom, BSc
Self-Financed: BBA, BCA, BSc Biotechnology, BVoc STGM, BVoc TSI
Minimum Requirement: Passed 10+2 in Arts/Commerce/Science with required subjects as mentioned in the course guidelines.

2. Higher Secondary Courses

Affiliation: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC)
Admission Platform: Darpan Portal
Guidelines: Followed as per AHSEC's latest guidelines.
Courses Offered: 10+2 in Arts, Commerce, Science (Regular Mode)
Minimum Requirement: Passed HS (Regular Mode) with required subjects as mentioned in the course guidelines from a recognized education board.

Admission Process: Through Gauhati University's Common PG Entrance Test
Eligibility: Must qualify through the entrance test conducted by Gauhati University.
Courses Offered: MA in Education, MCom (Self-Financed)

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure strictly follows the rules laid down by the Government of Assam and the affiliating Council/University. Key factors include:
Seat Reservation: Based on the data provided by candidates and verified with actual documents. In case of a data/document mismatch, the seat may be allocated to a waiting student with valid documents.
Fee Waiver and Paid Admission: Admission into regular UG and HS courses is divided into Fee Waiver and Paid Admission based on a valid income certificate provided by the candidate as per the latest guideline of the Government of Assam. All self-financed courses are paid, and the fees are to be borne by the aspirant candidates.
